Ballin' on a Saturday

    Today, I went out with Ruth,Grace, and some other friends. We went and played basketball at a nearby court. Grace, Ruth, and I also walked around the area after we played but after, we played some more basketball.

Final Portfolio Assessment "Report Card" Post

     Through the year, I have been a constant participant. Since September, my attendance has been well except when I missed the whole month of January because of my vacation back to the Philippines. Although, I missed a whole month of physical activity, when I came back to school, I was still determined and participated in all the activities. Everyday for P.E. I always wear gym strip - which are leggings and a t-shirt - and constantly have clothes to change in to after class. For fitness and class, I always try my best everyday. During activities, my participation is always 100% and if I am having trouble with an activity, I change my activity so I am able to do it without having problems. On choice days, my motivation to choose which activity to do is always from what I think I will enjoy so although my friends may be playing a different activity. 
      I contribute in class by motivating everyone around me. I make sure that I always stay positive in class so everyone's mood will be joyful and energetic throughout class. In class, I always try my best to help organize teams and the equipment of the activity. Although I may not be in a different class, I always try to help organize some of their activities. For example, when another class does capture the flag, I try my best to help organize the equipment all around the field. Whenever we do fitness or a game, I am constantly honest with my result and stay on the rules that is said. I never get asked to be more involved because I always try my best in class. Overall, my contribution and social responsibility in class is always positive wherever I am. 
       I constantly try my very best to live a healthy life. My actual fitness scores teach me that if I set a goal, I know I will try my best to reach it. A few changes that I realized from my fitness is that I have become a better runner and that my stamina have become more improved than it was when I first began in September. My extra curricular outside of class is dance and whenever I can, just going outside and going to the park with my friends.
Although the dance season has ended, I still take many workshops outside of school at OLGC for Praise Team and Studio 604 (Videos aren't allowed to be posted). Dance practice was every Monday and Wednesday each week so even though we may not have had PE on those days, I always had dance after school. We also did competitions throught the year. For my healthy eating, I always eat vegetables and fruit everyday to keep my health balanced. My future goals for my health is to stay in shape and always eat healthy everyday. 
     My digital portfolio shows that I have improved from the beginning of the yea to now. I may not get comments on my blog from my peers but I constantly try my best to acknowledge their blog posts. I always comment them to stick motivated and to never give up on their activity. I have learned many things throught this whole year. For example, I have learned how to stay motivated through class activities or fitness although I may have problems. I also learned how to be a better leader during class by organizing teams, equipment, and overall, just being a great leader. Also, I learned that there are other ways to stay healthy then during P.E. class like dance and hanging out with my friends outside at the park or around the neighbourhood.
 Everyday before class I always get everyone motivated by being positive in the morning. My goals for the future is to just stay in shape everyday by being physical. I also made a goal to eat healthy everyday so my body will stay in good shape. I think that I have grown since September because in the beginning of the year, I wasn't very motivated to do well in P.E. but now I'm always motivated and I always try my best. Overall, I feel that I have improved not just from my fitness but as a student to. I have learned many ways to become more positive and motivated through class plus become more physical and healthier too.

Interim Report March 2014

I believe that I deserve a 'G' because I am always prepared for class which means I have gym strip and clothes to change afterwards. Also, I come to class on time and put effort into my fitness by going at my own pace.However, if I have a problem or an injury, I modify the workout to the best of my ability. During P.E. class, I participate and have leadership by organizing the equipment and teams of the activity. I always have a healthy attitude and energy during fitness days and normal P.E. days by motivating my other classmates. Outside of class, I have a healthy lifestyle by dancing in the junior team and taking dance workshops outside of the school. By eating as much as fruits and vegetables I can at home, I am keeping a healthy diet. Also, I go on jogs everyday around my house.
